Richard M. Singer

Associate

Dick Singer joined Devoto and Company in January, 2012, as an associate specializing in Latin American business opportunities. He is the principal of Indalo International, an international representations and language services firm in Atlanta, Georgia.
 

Dick retired from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company in 2010 after a 30 year career where, as Regional Vice President of International Business Development for the Americas, he directed marketing and support activities related to aeronautics programs in Latin America, Europe, the Far East, and Canada. Throughout his Lockheed career he acted as primary interface with governmental agencies as well as commercial and industrial organizations in Canada and Latin America.
 

Dick is an active, free lance court and conference English/Spanish interpreter. He is certified by the federal Administrative Office of the United States Courts and is accredited by the National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators and the American Translators Association. His languages include Portuguese and French as well as Spanish. He also speaks conversational Italian, German and Dutch.
 

Prior to joining Lockheed, Dick was International Development Director for the PolyGram Group and was based in Baarn, the Netherlands, Madrid, Spain, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Before that he was associate director of a family owned commodities export and financing company in Argentina.
 

Dick was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He attended Rutgers University, Georgia State University, and Syracuse University. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies, a Certificate in Conference Interpretation, and has completed graduate studies in International Relations at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. Dick and his wife Liz live in Woodstock, Georgia. They have five children and nine grandchildren spread around the globe.
